October 27th, 1952 – September 3rd, 2022
On September 3rd we lost a beautiful wife and a wonderful mother. Alison Gleason was born in Seattle, Washington on October 27th, 1952 and continued to be a long-term resident of the area. Before becoming a mother and focusing on raising her daughter, she spent time working in the food service industry. Alison felt happiest being out in nature, whether that be walking through Discovery Park or taking trips to the ocean. Being quite sentimental at heart, she loved anything old–including movies, art, and antiques. Alison was also an avid gardener and an exceptional cook. She had a giving spirit and knew how to make every holiday and special occasion truly memorable. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her, including beloved pets and backyard creatures.
She is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Tara, brothers Tyler and Christopher, and sisters Pam and Noelle. She is also survived by her Aunt Patricia, in addition to many other family members. Alison was preceded in death by her mother Lucretia Celeste Bach and father Edward Swindlehurst.
Special thanks to Snohomish County Fire and the staff at Evergreen Hospital Kirkland.
