Alita Wall of Honolulu died Sunday January 11, 2015 at the age of 82.
Alita is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Brendan Wall. She is the beloved mother of Christopher and Sarah Wall, Catherine and Dan Schultze, Jonathan and Krista Wall, and Margaret and Sean Kennedy. Alita is survived by her adoring grandchildren: Ella and Lucas Schultze; Chloe, Nissa, Nora, and Brendan Wall; and Maeve and Kieran Kennedy.
Alita is also survived by her brother Raymond Castor. She is predeceased by her brother Robert Castor. Alita will join her beloved son, Brendan Wall, in eternal rest.
Born in 1932 to Dave and Marion Castor of Seattle, WA, Alita was a gifted pianist and dancer from a young age. A graduate of Roosevelt High, she studied at Dominican College and later earned her Masters degree at the University of Hawaii. She shared her love of music with many students as a long-time teacher at Maryknoll School, private piano teacher, and ballet instructor. Alita and Brendan spent many happy summers in Paris, France and enjoyed spending holidays with their children and grandchildren on the mainland.
Alita will be remembered by all who knew her for her love of family, her passion for music, and her deep and abiding faith in God.
A funeral mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, Seattle, WA on February 5th at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow immediately at Calvary Cemetery.
