Betty Jane Scott
Betty Jane Scott of Seattle, WA died peacefully on June 25th, 2023.
Betty was born to Leanitus and Harriet Barker in Pittsburgh, PA, December 30th, 1920. She joined the Navy in 1944, and rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. September 1947 she married Walter Murray Scott. They were married 69 years until his death in 2016. They had one daughter, Sandra, in 1953.
Betty is survived by her sister LaVerne, daughter Sandra, granddaughter Jessica Jane, grandson John Scott, and grandchildren, Paisley, Kenzie, and Beckett.
The funeral service will be August 14th at 2:30pm at Tahoma National Cemetary.
