Beverley Anne Banks, beloved wife of Terry Banks and Grandmother of Richard Banks passed into the arms of God on Wednesday, March 16th 2016 in Seattle, Wa. In addition to her husband and loving grandson, she also leaves behind, two sons – Dennis and Steven, her daughter Michelle and countless loving extended family and friends.
Beverley, also lovingly known as Bev to many was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 10, 1944 to Enid Marie Adams. She was a Canadian and a US citizen and lived the first 40 years of her life in Canada. In the 1980’s, she moved with the love of her life, Terry Banks to Seattle, WA. Soon thereafter started working at PEMCO Insurance, where she spent nearly 26 years leading, coaching and developing people.
She spent much of her life devoted to helping others. She routinely made the long journey from Seattle to Canada to be with and support her children, aunts, uncles and extended family. She was an incredibly strong woman who gave passionately of herself. She had an infectious laugh and sense of humor that could lighten any room. She will be most remembered for the time she invested in others, especially the loving care she provided to her grandson Richard. Her passion for life, drive for excellence and her laughter will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held for Beverley on Fri-day, April 8, 2016 at Noon at Seattle Scottish Rite located at 1207 N 152nd St. Shoreline, Wa. The family invites guests to celebrate Beverley by donating to their favorite charity, in her honor in lieu of flowers.
