Carol Johnston
Carol Mae Johnston (Sikillian) passed away peacefully in Evergreen Hospice on 25 August 2018, surrounded by family and friends. Carol was born in Bellshill (Glasgow) Scotland on 6 September 1966, and became a naturalized US citizen. She was a proud graduate the University of Michigan and was an avid fan of Wolverine football and basketball. She met her future husband Michael at the Learning Company in Cambridge Massachusetts, where they became fast friends while working on a project. They married at St Paul’s in Cambridge on 17 April 1999 and began life together with love, mutual respect, and many adventures. Her life was centered on her family, friends and community. She was a dedicated mother to her son Michael and was very active in his school activities, PTSA, outdoor activities and sports.
Carol leaves behind her beloved husband Michael, son Michael, her parents Matt and Jesse, uncle and aunt George and Mae, and Eric and Vivian, and brother and sister in law Fausto and Jeanne-Marie and niece and nephew Catie and Marco, along with many friends and neighbors.
