Carol Wyatt Kent was born on August 17, 1940 in Moscow, Idaho to Kenneth Kenworthy and Delores Wyatt. Carol died peacefully on September 29, 2014 after bravely battling gastric cancer diagnosed in March, 2014. Carol is survived by brothers Pete Kenworthy of Stevensville, Michigan and Paul Kenworthy of Hansville, Washington. Carol moved to the Washington area when she was young and enjoyed spending time in the early days sailing with her family, playing at the ocean and getting introduced to her first horse.
Carol had a lifelong love for all animals, especially cats and horses and owned and showed horses successfully throughout the years. When Carol was away from work, she could usually be found at the barn or some sort of horse event. Carol’s passion for horses carried over into her volunteering her time with the local Washington Arabian Horse Association and Woodinville Hollywood Hill Saddle Clubs as their Horse Show Manager. Outside of horses, Carol worked in bookkeeping, office work and most recently real estate. In addition to horses, Carol enjoyed watching golf and was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan.
Carol’s warm heart and witty personality will be missed. Happy trails to our dear friend, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
