Chengdi Liu

Chengdi Liu passed peacefully on 08/20/2023 in Seattle Washington, surrounded by her family.

Chengdi was born on August 15, 1963, grew up, and attended college in Beijing, China. She immigrated to the US with her husband, Jinsheng Li, and earned a Masters in Chemistry at Tennessee State University.

Chengdi was a gifted teaching assistant and, later, a computer programmer before her brain tumor diagnosis in 1999. Chengdi bravely fought cancer for over 24 years.

Chengdi will be deeply missed by her husband Jinsheng, daughter Amy, brother Chengcheng, sister-in-law Xufan, cousin Lin, and other family members.

Remembrance contributions in her name to organizations fighting brain tumors are appreciated.

A private memorial service was held in the EvergreenHealth Hospice Center.
