Dan McCormick
Daniel Patrick (Dan) McCormick passed away May 28th, 2021 in Shoreline, WA at the age of 75 after a 2-year battle with cancer.
Dan was born in Vancouver, BC on March 1, 1946 to Nial Raymond and Alice Victoria (Williams) McCormick. He lived in Vancouver and Calgary, Alberta during his younger years. He met his wife Marilyn (Miller) in June 1976 and they were married in April 1981 in Shoreline, WA, were they resided for 40 years.
Dan had a great interest in education. He received a BS in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and an MBA from Puget Sound University. He was working on his PHD Dissertation in Computer Studies at the time of his death.
Dan worked for a number of different computer companies until he started a computer services company in Lynnwood, WA in 1983. He retired in 2005 due to health issues. Marilyn continues to run the business.
He is survived by his wife and a niece Krista (Serge) LeBlanc and nephew Kevin (Noelia) McCormick of Calgary, Alberta. Also, several great nieces & nephews, a sister, Uncle and Aunt all in Canada. As well as many of Marilyn’s family members. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother & sister-in-law Terry and Donna McCormick.

There are no services planned. Remembrances can be sent to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or Evergreen Health Hospice in Kirkland, WA.
