Elaine Marie Cummings

Elaine Marie Cummings, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Lynnwood, WA on November 2024. Born in 1939 in Durango, Colorado, to Orris and Ruth Eide, Elaine grew up to be a beacon of love and kindness. She was raised in Arizona then 1968 moved to Washington where she resided for about 56 years.

Elaine is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Walt, and her four cherished daughters: Lori (Mike), Denise (Ed), Kathleen, and Christina (Todd). She was a proud and loving grandmother to nine grandchildren: Jobie, Paige, Chase, Chandler, Bailey, Julian, Keaton, Emma and Lewis. Three great-grandsons: Alfie, Hayden, and Damien, two beloved sisters Anita and Karen, many nieces and nephews, and as well many lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Orris and Ruth Eide, her first husband: Al, sister: Donna, two nephews, one great-grandson: Linus, and several good friends.

Elaine dedicated her life to her family, always offering love, support, and wisdom. Her legacy of warmth and generosity will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

A service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at St. Pius X  22301 58th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043, on December 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Catholic Charity (#iGiveCatholic).

Elaine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
