Elizabeth Frances (Tibby) Lambert of Mount Lake Terrrace, Washington was born on August 19, 1977 in Denver, Colorado. She was reunited with her cherished Italian greyhound companion, Bellini, on December 1, 2022.
Kindness is Elizabeth summed up in a single word. Through her words and actions she offered never ending kindness, patience, compassion and forgiveness. Everyone who knew her was touched by the gift that was her open arms, sympathetic ear and understand heart. Though her own life was one of struggle as she fought for over a decade to overcome the severe health conditions brought on by Lyme disease and gastroparesis.
The love she lavished on those nearest her was never affected. “Elizabeth was the kind of person who is always in your corner no matter what.” said a close friend. “If I had a problem she was on my side even before I spoke.” Her ever advocating medical doctor and assistant note “Even though Elizabeth was always in great pain, she was kind, thoughtful and had a smile on her face.” Additionally, she had a cheeky sense of humor, a voice that loved to sing out and a beautiful smile.
Swimming weightless in the ocean, Anne of Green Gables, Greek salads and having tea time with friends were some of her favorite things.
Though Elizabeth never realized her dream of being a mother, that didn’t prevent her mother’s heart from giving unconditional love and support to her siblings, nieces, nephews, four grand-like children, and sponsoring children in South America. As well as dedicated care and affection to orphaned animals. She made sure everyone knew “you are loved”. Whatever the relationship, faithfulness was always singing softly in the background and leaving us humming it’s tune.
Her professional accomplishments concentrated on poverty alleviation, empowering children, human rights, family planning and much more. She proudly served on Mercy Ships organizing health clinics and at the Gates Foundation in Seattle in the family planning department offering numerous healthcare options for women and men around the world. In 2005, she graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a bachelors degree in Organizational Behavior.
