Ellen Belinda “Linda” Holdt, (née Johnson) was born January 4, 1928, in Opheim, Montana and passed away peacefully on July 7, 2019, in Edmonds, Washington. She was 91.
Linda is survived by her loving children Ron Holdt (Sheila) of Shoreline, WA, Carol Holdt (Donald Mundinger) of Oregon City, OR, and Gary Holdt (Stacy) of Renton, WA, grandsons Geoffrey Holdt of Lynnwood, WA, and Bryan Holdt of Issaquah, WA, great-grandchildren Evelyn Holdt and Nathan Holdt of Lynnwood, WA, along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother Irving Johnson and sister Lucille Pike and parents Ture Walfred and Ellen Marie (Anderson) Johnson.
Linda worked for the University of Washington Hospital before retiring in 1993.
She was an avid Seattle Sonics fan and enjoyed walking, bird-watching, and volunteered at the American Cancer Society’s thrift store in Seattle, WA. More recently, she enjoyed rousing games of dominoes with her children and grandchildren.
She was deeply loved and will be missed.
A private, family celebration of life is planned.
