Evelyn Mae (Wittnebel) Wolslegel, Wife, Mom, Grandma TuTu, Great Grandma TuTu and Friend. On December 11th of the year 1925, she joined this world to parents Gustav Wittnebel and Alma Peterson in Tacoma, Washington. However, on March 25th of 2015 God called his Angel back.
At the age of 16 she met the man that would later become her husband. A beautiful thing about the woman the world lost was her determination. And after graduating from High School, Evelyn was adamant and driven to make her own mark on the world. She chose to forgo marriage, while giving her approval to be asked later, in order to complete her training for the Army Air Nurses Corps. After her completion and the ending of the war, she would marry Harold William Wolslegel in Tacoma.
Evelyn and Harold had three children while in Tacoma and in 1962 relocated to Seattle where they would remain. Evelyn was an avid baseball fan, mystery novel reader, and great listener. However, there was nothing more important than the love she had for her family. She is survived by not only her husband and three children, but six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by one grandchild.
Evelyn was and will forever be loved and adored by all that met her. She will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
