Georgia Marie Anderson Cline

Our mom passed away peacefully on June 25, 2013 just five days before her 93rd birthday. The daughter of George Lowe and Minnie Griffith Lowe she was born June 30, 1920 at the French Hospital in Los Angles, California.  Georgia grew up in Redondo Beach California along with her sister Gwendolyn Lowe Combs. Georgia graduated from Redondo High School in 1938.

Georgia had known her future husband, Robert C. Anderson, for some years through her sister and brother-in-law Ellis Combs.  Georgia and Bob married November 11, 1938. They lived in Gardena, California until 1946 then moved to Manhattan Beach California where they raised their two children, Bob and Sandy.

Mom was a very giving, generous and loving wife, mother, grandma and friend. She never forgot birthdays or special occasions.   She always found the perfect gift for her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook! Everyone loved going to mom and dad’s for dinner and especially holiday meals.  She was so generous.  Mom worked off and on over the years in aerospace companies located in the Inglewood California area.

In 1976, after mom and dad retired they moved to Sequim, Washington. Dad passed away in 1977 and mom returned to Manhattan Beach and returned to work as an expeditor for North American Rockwell.

After her return to Manhattan Beach she reacquainted with longtime family friend Andy Cline. They married in 1982 and lived in Torrance California. After Andy’s passing in 1986, mom moved to Kirkland Washington in 1988 to be closer to her daughter and grand kids.

Mom loved her dogs. Her last one was “Sophie”. All of mom’s dogs lived long and healthy lives because of the wonderful care and companionship she showered upon them.

In December of 2009 mom moved into a wonderful adult family home in Renton, Washington. The owners and care givers, Daniela and Brian Muresan provided mom’s last 3 1/2 years with wonderful care and comfort. Our family will be forever grateful to them and to all those who provided the loving care, good food and comfort for our mom.

She is survived by her son Bob Anderson of Nampa Idaho, her daughter Sandy Sarver (Mike) of Camano Island Washigton, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.

We love and miss you mom.
