Irene Zella
Irene Virginia Zella passed away on July 19, 2022 at her retirement home in Renton, Washington just 9 days before her 100th birthday. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 28, 1922. She was the beloved wife to the late Leo Zella for 25 years. Loving mother of her only son David Zella and 2 grandsons Shawn and Brent. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, parents William and Helen Dziamski, brothers John, Joseph, William, and Eugene, and sisters Clara and Helen.
After her husband passed, she lived in a condominium in Livonia, Michigan before moving to Renton, Washington in 2018. She was very socially active with the Livonia Go-Getters club. She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo, and eating out at restaurants with her friends and family. She loved to travel and enjoyed the National Parks.
Irene was an amazingly healthy and energetic woman who lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.
