Kenneth Dee Snyder

Ken Snyder

Kenneth Dee Snyder passed away quietly at UWMC on December 19, 2012.

He was born April 2, 1941 to Kenneth and Dorothy Snyder in Fullerton, NE, graduated from high school in Cheyenne, WY, and shortly thereafter enlisted in the U. S. Army.  He served his beloved country in Viet Nam, Germany and the U. S.

Ken was a Master Electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 46.  Upon retiring, he earned his credential as Enrolled Agent by the Internal Revenue Service and, with his wife, founded Accounting, Consulting and Tax in Bothell, WA.  Together they spent many years assisting the local community with various tax issues.

He loved our Lord and was truly grateful for the miracles received and witnessed in his lifetime.  He loved his family and his country and cherished every moment of his time spent outdoors.  Ken reveled in the glory of God’s creations as an avid outdoorsman.  He spent many hours watching deer, elk, and other wildlife. He never met a dog he didn’t like.

“Kenny Dee” is survived by Cheryll, his wife of 33 years; brother Denis; daughters Gwendolyn and Charity; grandson Shain; granddaughters Kristina, Kassandra, Shaleena and Michelle; and great-grandson Austyn.  Son, David, predeceased him.

A memorial service with scattering of the ashes will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Seattle Humane Society, the Everett Gospel Mission or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
