Mrs. Tsang enjoyed playing mahjong, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and many long time friends. She held a strong religious faith and in 2003 she converted to Catholicism and was baptized in Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church. She became an active member of the Seattle Catholic Chinese Community, and as a church elder, was most respected and well-known to every member. She was also a member of the Hong Kong Association of Washington and actively participated in all social events.
She was a kind, generous, and genuine person. She went through wars, hardship, and many challenging moments in Asia. She was a highly respected figure in the Hong Kong community and has always been surrounded by many long time friends. She was able to set a good example of hard work, dignity, and perseverance for her children’s foundation which inspired her daughter Flora to become a highly regarded teacher and her son Rick to become a successful business executive in the U.S.
Mrs. Tsang was preceded in death by her daughter, Flora Tsang, and her husband, Chi-Choi Tsang. She is survived by her son, Rick Tsang, her grandchildren Rose Lam, Francis Lam, Prisca Lam, and Josh Tsang, as well as her great-granddaughter Chloe Ling, who brought tremendous joy and light into her life.
