Leonida Ong
Leonida (Nida) passed away on November 5th 2016 in Shoreline Washington. She was born in Barotac Nuevo, Philippines on January 27, 1948 to Inocencio and Gaudencia Besagar. She is the eldest of 7 siblings.
She attended Centro Escolar University in the Philippines. She received her Masters in Education at the University of Guam then later became a CPA.
She worked at Guam Legislatures office where she later met her future husband Dr. Percival Ong.
They had 2 children Gregory and Valerie. She later moved to Bothell, Washington and lived there for 22 years.
She is survived by son Gregory and daughter Valerie, brothers Al and Joe and sisters Rose, Linda, Nel and Jeanette as well as many nieces and nephews.
