Lori Ambrose (née Ellis) died on January 2nd at the age of 59 in Kirkland, WA.
Lori was born on September 11th, 1958 in Spokane, WA. She graduated from Mariner High School in 1976, landing a job at Boeing first as a temp and then as a full-time employee for 38 years. She was a highly-respected and well-liked co-worker, she was reliable and made work fun with her wit and humor. Lori continually sought out professional development in her field, always putting her best foot forward in all that she did.
Lori enjoyed her football team, the Seattle Seahawks, and hadn’t missed watching a game since 1976. She also enjoyed her annual summer trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon with her daughter and dogs. She was a lover of all things furry and had a particular soft spot for senior aged dogs. Lori enjoyed her Christmas vacations in Hawaii where she would be found spending time with her daughter and granddaughter or sipping local coffee with her toes in the sand. Lori was a beautiful and free spirit who enjoyed spending time with her friends and making memories with her family during holidays. Her laughter was contagious and she touched all who came into her life with her generous heart and kind spirit.
She is survived by her mother, Sally (Ambrose) Bates; daughter, Krysta (Sampson) Yamamoto and her spouse; her granddaughter, Lennox Yamamoto as well as her aunt and cousins.
