Marilyn Louise (Taylor) Smith, 79, of Redmond WA., passed away on 12/18/10 after a long battle with lymphoma. She was preceded by her husband, Raymond A. Smith,who died in 1979 and by her parents, Lee G. and Myrtle I. Taylor. Her parents, natives of Iowa, moved to California in their Model T in the late 1920s. Marilyn was born in 1931 in Whittier, CA. Soon after, her parents moved to Sunnymead, where Marilyn attended grade school. She graduated from Poly High School in Riverside and attended Riverside City College, where she met her husband. They were married in 1951 and had three children, all of whom survive her: Victoria Smith (Howard Glaser) of San Jose, Susan Fox (Mike)of Knoxville, MD and Rob Smith (Carla) of Redmond. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Rich Chamberlain, Erica Dickinson, and Cieara Smith; two great grandchildren: Kayla and Ryan Chamberlain, and several Labrador retriever grand-dogs. Marilyn was an avid gardener and genealogist who enjoyed landscaping and researching family history. She will be dearly missed by all her family.
