Mark Marquez

Mark Marquez, 65, was taken by the Lord on Saturday, July 13th, at 3:55am at Swedish Medical Center after a surgery necessary due to complications from diabetes.

He was a religious soul, a musician of fine taste in rock and roll, a loving father and caring husband. A collector of classic sci-fi, vinyl records and games of strategy, and a loyal friend.

From his birth on May 21,1954 in Toppenish WA, Mark went on to brighten the days of many.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary, daughter Marcia and son, Brian. He had four grandchildren: Jacob, Zachary, and Cameron, children of Marcia; and Meliah, daughter of Brian.

To all of those that wish to join us in the wonderful memories of a man most youthful at heart, Mark Marquez, the Memorial Service will be held at Barton’s Funeral Home on Friday August 2nd, at 10:30am. The location address is 11630 Slater Ave NE #1a, Kirkland, WA 98034.

Graveside services will immediately follow the Memorial at Holyrood Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The location address is 205 NE 205th St, Shoreline, WA 98155. All are invited and encouraged to join us for either, or both services.
