Mark R. Moon

Mark R. Moon, born October 13, 1951, passed away in his sleep early in the morning of March 6, 2017. His family is grateful that he was home and comfortable when he left this plane to be with the lord. Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley, their daughters Kelly (Robbie), Kim (Sean) and Marissa (Larry), and his son Clark Ridge as well as his sister Christine and grandchildren Anthony, Ashley, Killian, Aidan and Luke, and great grandson Nicolas. He will be greatly missed by his large extended family, both biological and marital.

Mark, a man of Christian faith, was born in Hillsboro Oregon, but spent most of his life in the Seattle area. He was known for a great sense of humor and quick wit. Mark’s knowledge of history and a wide array of trivia made every day with him interesting. His jobs included welding and later hazmat abatement as a supervisor. His passions were his family, making music and creating jewelry.
We will celebrate his life and our memories of him on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 4-7pm at the Burien Community Center, 14700 6th Ave SW Burien WA 98166 in the Shorewood room.
