Maureen Elizabeth Vague, daughter of James and Betty Vague, was born January 29, 1952 in Kirkland Washington.
She attended Holy Family Parish Elementary School, Lake Washington High School and Central Washington University.
Maureen was a devout Catholic her entire life and served in many functions withing the Church during her lifetime and was a member of St. Anthony’s in Renton, where she had lived for many years.
She made her career in the Wine industry and did books for several large Northwest Winemakers.
The Consummate hostess, Maureen delighted her guests with fresh artistic presentations for all the meals she served and would decorate beautifully. She loved to do handiworks and sew and belonged to a cross stitch guild. She often made neices and nephews special clothing and stuffed animals.
Maureen was the eldest of eight children and Aunt/Great Aunt to 24 nieces and nephews. Maureen loved to send cards and sent cards to each neice and nephew for birthdays and special occasions.
Maureen quietly departed this life on August 30, 2016 in the home of her sister in Duvall Washington. She was placed to rest at Holyrood in Shoreline, Washington.
She will forever be cherished in the hearts of her Parents, Brothers, Sisters, Aunt, Cousins, Nieces Nephews, Workmates, Friends from her handiworks/cross stitch clubs and Friends from across the Years.
