Michael (Mike) John Perreault, 72, passed on January 20th, 2022 at his home in Kirkland, WA after a valiant 9 year battle with cancer.
He was born on December 31st, 1949, in Crookston, Minnesota, to George and Antoinette (Remick) Perreault. Mike graduated from Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, MN, class of 1968.
Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1971.
Mike married Mary Schonhardt on June 23rd, 1973 and was married for almost 49 wonderful years.
He earned a degree in architectural drafting, but when the building industry crashed in the 1980’s, he changed careers and went to work in the beverage industry. Mike spent the last 30 years of his career at PepsiCo, where he was recognized nationally as the Company’s top service technician on multiple occasions.
Aside from his incredible sense of humor, he also enjoyed woodworking, coaching his daughter’s softball team, camping, a good Scotch, telling everyone how “Harmonious” he is, and spending time with family and friends.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Mary whom he fondly called his “Gift”; Daughter, Michelle Lombardo, her husband Michael and three children, Abigail, Tristan and Nicholas. Daughter, Mackenzie Malone, her husband Chad, and their two boys Deacon and Braxton. Brothers Steve Perreault of Fargo, ND, Ralph Perreault (Debbie), Red Lake Falls, MN, his sister-in-law Ann Perreault, Lake Park, MN, a fantastic collection of nieces and nephews, as well as one very funny giraffe.
He is preceded in death by his Father George, Mother Antoinette, Sister Clariet, and brothers Francis and James.
