
Patricia Anne Murphy (Trish) of Seattle, Washington passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2015, she was 55 years old. She was born in Queens, NY to Agnes A Murphy and the late Frank J Murphy.
She attended Holy Spirit Catholic grammar school in New Hyde Park, NY. Her family moved to Florida and she graduated from Lake Brantley High School in Longwood, Florida in 1978. After receiving her Physician’s Assistant Degree from the University of Florida she found her life’s calling as a PA for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research, Children’s Hospital and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. In her spare time, she mentored a Girl Scout troop for special needs teens , taught snow skiing to handicapped children, and created beautiful jewelry and other crafts. She loved her family, her patients, her darling cats Chloe and Zorro, and the University of Florida Gators.
She is survived by her mother and brothers, Thomas and Frank Murphy, Frank’s wife Karen, and her beloved nieces and nephew along with many precious cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Barton Family Funeral Service 11630 Slater Ave NE #1a Kirkland, WA 98034 on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 6-8 pm. A private memorial mass will be held in Altamonte Springs, FL at a later date.
