Kathryn Keller Miller

Kathryn Keller Miller passed away in the evening of May 25, 2015 at NorthWest Hospital. She had just celebrated her 104th birthday in March before becoming ill. Kathryn was born in 1911 to Joseph and Delia Keller of Shawnee, Oklahoma. She spent her childhood years in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and Wichita Falls, Texas. As a young adult she moved back to Shawnee, OK for a job opportunity. There she met and married Poland H. Miller. The couple moved from Shawnee to Rochester N.Y. During their life together they lived in Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, finally settling in Seattle WA in 1946. Kathryn lived for over 50 years in the Magnolia district of Seattle before  moving to the retirement community of Crista in Shoreline.

She is survived by two daughters, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is mourned by a large extended family of nieces and nephews, and others whom she “adopted” into her circle of love.

Remembrances may be sent to the Red Cross where she volunteered for many years, or to the Good Samaritan Fund at Crista, Shoreline.
