February 24, 1991 – February 26, 2015
Paul Andrew Jackson left this world unexpectedly on February 26th, 2015. He was 24 years old. He left behind his loving parents Janet Truselo, Robert Jackson, along with Ray Murphy and Paul’s beloved brother, David; as well as the many family members and friends who cherished him.
Paul was a truly kind and thoughtful young man with a sense of humor that he shared often and easily.
He was educated in Kirkland area schools including Ben Franklin, Rose Hill Junior High, Stella Schola, Lake Washington HS, and eventually, Bellevue College.
During these years, he took part in youth sports such as T- Ball, slow pitch softball, and soccer. He was a proud member of the “Wildcats” and later, the “Blackhawks” soccer clubs. Paul also participated in math competitions, chess club, and FBLA, a business group for students.
He was a gifted and passionate musician who loved to play the piano and the drums.
Paul loved an intellectual challenge and took pride in mastering any complicated problem.
His talent at chess took him all over King County for scholastic competitions, and eventually to Portland, Tucson, Louisville, and Kansas City where he competed, and placed, in national-level Championship Chess tournaments attended by the top student players in the US.
He will be forever missed and loved for always by all those whose lives he touched. We love you, Paul.
“Actually, we never really lose the ones we love. They are as close as your mind and your heart. We may have lost the physical part of them, but the essence of life and the gift of love is ours forever….”
A memorial service for Paul will take place on Saturday, March 28th at Willows Lodge, 14580 NE 145th Street, Woodinville, Wa from 2pm to 5pm.
