On December 18, 2014, Harold passed away at Evergreen Health hospice care in Kirkland, Washington. He was born January 9, 1949, in Anderson, Missouri. Harold served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969-1973. After completing his military service, he graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1975. He then moved to Washington State in 1976 with his family. After 40 years in Washington, he was still in awe of the sunsets over Puget Sound and the surrounding mountains.
Harold provided chiropractic care for 30 years, dedicating his career to helping and healing others. In addition to his practice, he was a former member of the University of Washington’s Multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Staff, President of Myo-Logic Diagnostics Inc., President of Spinal-Logic Diagnostics Inc., Treasurer of the Council on Chiropractic Practice, President of the International Spinal Health Institute which established a chiropractic clinic in Russia, board member of the World Chiropractic Alliance, and recognized as a Fellow in the International Chiropractic Association. Of all Harold’s accomplishments, his fondest memory was being on the medical staff during the 1984 Olympics. He truly enjoyed working with the Olympic Boxing Team.
He is survived by his three children; Stephen, Jonathan, Heather; and his two brothers, Ronald and Richard. He was preceded in death by his youngest brother Royce, and both parents.
A service will be held at the Tahoma National Cemetery. Date and time is being arranged with Barton Funeral Home in Seattle.
