Born in Camden, New Jersey on November 8, 1933 to Samuel and Angeline Radogna. Christine was the younger of two daughters. Christine lived in South Jersey all her life until 2009 when she moved to Kenmore, Washington to be close to her son and daughter-in-law.
In her younger days Christine enjoyed dancing to music of her time in the 50s. As she got older she continued tapping her feet to music but now it was; Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck and of course some Frank Sinatra.
Christine’s working career mostly involved various Title and Escrow Companies. Summer vacations on the Jersey Shore were one of the family’s most favorite outings, especially Wildwood New Jersey just south of Atlantic City and the famous Boardwalks. Christine’s love for animals (well, mostly dogs) was easy to see. She had so many and loved treating them better than real family (almost). Later in life she had her one and only cat which she thought she would never like. See photo … It was love at first sight.Christine is survived by husband Hugh F. McCue, son and daughter In-law Robert and Marlene Huntsinger, sister and brother In-law Rosanna and Renato Volpe, nephew and wife David and Christine Volpe and many cousins.
Christine loved the Lord and attended church all her life. Her last church roots were in St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Bothell, WA. Unfortunately her mobility reduced her attendance in the last few years of her life; however it did not stop her Love for the Lord. We believe she has run the race and has finished strong.
…I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)
Christine had many conflicting health issues which were not able to be corrected. Christine departed peacefully on October 1, 2014 at the Evergreen Health Hospice Care Center. This amazing place has the most relaxing setting; however what really makes this Hospice Care Center so comforting are the people that work and volunteer there. Their amazing love, giving and kind spirit has allowed Christine to truly finish the race in peace.
