Sharon was born in Springfield, Illinois May 9th to Leland and Helen Stiner. A little sister named Shirley (Snyder) was soon to follow. The two were the greatest of friends.
After graduating from Highline High School in 1962 Sharon lived most of her life in Burien, where she met and married her husband Norm Foldvik in 1963.
They were married for a long time before the birth of their first Norm Jr. He was soon followed by another son Erik. Sharon loved both of her boys dearly. She was also the very proud Grandma of Erik’s two daughters Mia and Simone.
She spent most of her working years in the banking and financial fields.
Sharon had a passion for music, playing slide guitar as a little girl to taking her boys to see Motley Crüe! The really great stories she could tell about different shows and concerts and chance meetings of celebrities will be missed.
Norm and Sharon owned many collectible vehicles, far too many to list here. She was always patient when the guys got to talking cars and could usually impress them with her width and breadth of knowledge of makes and models,
The thing that anyone who knew Sharon, will tell you that will be the most missed, is her absolute goodness. She was a gentle creature who accepted people for themselves. You always knew that Sharon would have a gracious and kindhearted word for you.
Sharon instructed us to concentrate on the good times, and maybe when we saw a hummingbird to think of her.
