Ellen “Dolly” Patricia Nagan, 85, of Mercer Island, WA, died January 12th, peacefully in her home and surrounded by her loved ones.
“Dolly” was born to Carl Alfred Nagell and Petra Elene Nagell on March 24, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN. Dolly married Leo Nagan in 1952 and lived in Minneapolis before relocating to Mercer Island in 1958.
Dolly was a talented artist, seamstress, devoted mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Saint Monica’s Catholic Church and donated much of her time helping the elderly in local nursing homes. Dolly was known for her positive outlook and kindness, she found the good in all people.
Dolly is survived by husband Leo Nagan and three children: Paula Spring of Kirkland, WA, Julie Nagan of Kirkland, WA and Susan Rauls of Juanita, WA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
