(1949 – 2010)

Loving Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend passed into the sunset

December 10th, 2010

Born July 24th, 1949 to Don and Faye Leatherman in Salt lake City, Utah. There was always a city parade to celebrate her day. Having lived in Utah until 1980, Virginia made Washington her place to call home. She served the government for over 30 years. In retirement she enjoyed gardening and her family. She volunteered her time and donated what she could to help make this world a better place. She loved her family dearly, enjoyed helping others and was passionate about nature.

Virginia is survived by her children Robert (Tara) Farnsworth; Janell Farnsworth and Grandson Kyle; Jamie Farnsworth and Grandchildren Gage and Brianna; and Russell (Kristin) Farnsworth and her son Zachory. She is also survived by Brother Richard (Deanne) Leatherman; Sisters Marilyn (James) Cooper; Marsha (Michael) Copfer; and Brother David (Linda) Leatherman. She is survived by many extended families who loved her dearly as well. Proceeded in death by her parents and sister Patricia Burgess.

Virginia’s wishes were to not have services.
