Donna Lynn Kelly

Donna Lynn Kelly, 57 passed away peacefully after enduring a 2 1/2 year illness with cancer in her family home on Monday, November 6, 2017. She was born on October 19, 1960 to Willis and Marva Jackson. She is a graduate of Lincoln High School and worked in Social Services.  Donna illuminated the true meaning of “servant-hearted”.  She was always the first to help anyone in need and enjoyed mentoring young women. Her goal was to encourage them of their capability to be strong and succeed in life. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren.  You could often find her reading a good book or escaping to the ocean.  

Donna is survived by her four children; LaDonna Ryan, Norman Kelly, Jr., Darrell Kelly, Lynnette Kelly and their spouses; her siblings Ronald Jackson, Patricia Pickney, Glenn Jackson and Lisa Jackson; and her five grandchildren. 

A private memorial service will be held for Donna.
