Scott Richard Libak, Age 62, of Redmond Washington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 5th, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Scott was born in Ballard Hospital on March 10, 1956 to Marvin (deceased) and Elsa Libak. He grew up in Bothell and graduated from Bothell High School. Scott started a career at UPS where he stayed for 28 years until he retired in 2014.
Scott was an avid Mariner baseball and Seahawk football fan. He also enjoyed darts, bowling, crossword puzzles and watching golf. Scott was very proud to be a volunteer for the local VFW post in Redmond, WA. He truly enjoyed the work he did for them and the people he worked with.
Scott was married to Shari K. Langrehr on March 12th, 2006.
He is survived by his wife Shari, and her two children, Jessamynn and Joshua Miller as well as her 6 grandchildren.
Additional survivors were his mother, Elsa, sisters Sue and Colleen (husband Philip), brothers Randy (wife Ardis), Monte and Mark and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. at Barton Family Funeral Home, 11630 Slater Avenue NE, Suite 1A, Kirkland, WA 98034.
