In his later years, Dick enjoyed investing in the stock market, reading, family dinners and quiet evenings sitting by the fireplace. Despite his failing health, his perseverance, kindness, and humor was inspiring to many. He was respected and loved by nurses, therapists, caregivers and doctors. He appreciated simple pleasures in life and frequently expressed gratitude. His resilience, generosity, loving playfulness and positive outlook will be missed by all who knew him.
