Tim and Mary Newcomb
Timothy ‘Tim’ Wallace Newcomb, age 81 passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Cambridge Senior Care in Kirkland, Washington. He was born on January 18, 1941 in Oakland California, the oldest Son to Philip and Clara Newcomb.
Tim and Mary Newcomb were married September 21, 1968 in Lakewood WA. Tim earned his PHD in Marine Biology from the University of Washington. He retired from working in fisheries for NOAH in Seattle Washington in 2004. Tim was an Eagle Scout and lifelong supporter of scouting volunteering for many years as the organizational rep at Redmond United Methodist Church. He was also active in the church serving on the Trustee board, gardening, participating in Sunday school, and enjoyed singing in the church choir.
Tim is Survived by his wife, Mary Newcomb; children, Heather Kreek, John Newcomb; son in law Trent Kreek; grandchildren Alexi Flannery-Rick, David Flannery, Macklin Newcomb and Betty Newcomb.
He was preceded in death by his parents Philp and Clara Newcomb; his sister Holly Asano; and his daughter in-law Angela Newcomb.
