Henry was born in 1943 in England and died peacefully at Evergreen Hospice Center on December 2, 2022.
He was raised in Donnington and Southend and moved with his family to America in 1981. He became a hairdresser in his early 20s and for 57 years he created a thriving business. He took great pride in being a skillful listener and often referred to himself as a Hairapist. He will be remembered as a funny, perceptive man, who was thoughtful, kind, and entertaining all while keeping his lovely British accent. He was a stamp and coin collector along with remembering many quotes and songs that guided his life. He will be greatly missed.
Henry leaves behind his wife Theresa Taylor, his daughters Naomi Simmons Amato (Dena), Sarah Nelson (David), his grandchildren Carter Nelson, Kendall Nelson and Easton Amato and his step children Nigel Taylor ( LaNaya), Dakota Hewitt (Chris) and granddaughter Senna along with his niece Lisa Davis (Moe) and nephews Stephen Silver (Lynn) and Andrew Silver.
A memorial/celebration of life will be held at Magnolia United Church, 3555 W McGraw St., Seattle, WA 98199 on February 11, 2023 from 1-4 pm.
