Regina Marie Ardiente was comfortable at her home and surrounded by her family when she passed away peacefully on Sunday January 26, 2020.
She was born to Allen and Sally (Salazar) Apodaca on November 19, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona. Her family relocated to Seattle, Washington where she met and maintained many close relationships that she kept dear to her heart all of these years.
She graduated from Shorecrest High School in 1980 and married Danilo Ardiente in the summer of 1984. Regina proudly expressed her uncanny ability to problem solve and bring people together with her big smile and optimistic outlook on all aspects of life. She managed the family owned restaurant Garcia’s and eventually worked as a financial analyst for Costco Wholesale, where she was employed the last 25 years of her life. Regina gave birth to her first son, Alan in 1988 and established a family household in Bothell, WA with her husband Danilo. Alex was born in 1991 and Augustine in 1994 shortly after.
She possessed a strong faith & trust in God which allowed her to lead a lifestyle that was stress free and completely in the present. Regina truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; with an emphasis on hosting holiday dinners, telling jokes, and an unconditional support & love for her friends and family. She loved the music of Sade & Chicago, scary movies accompanied with lemon heads and hot tamales, and James Patterson & Stephen King novels.
Regina is survived by her husband Danilo; mother, Sally; siblings; Carrie, Ted, Monique, & Nicole; sons; Alan, Alex, & Augustine; and countless extended family and close friends.
