1932 – 2018
Robert Lee Malone
Bob was born to Roberta & (John?) in 1932 in Alhambra, CA.
Robert went on to serve in the Navy for four years, and then study Electrical Engineering, graduating from USC with a BS.
In 1956 he met and married his beloved wife Jacqueline.
He earned his MBA from UCLA in 1973. Robert worked in the early days of computers and was on the team that developed the communications equipment for the lunar module of Apollo 11, and later the first 5-1/2” floppy disc.
The family moved to Bellevue, WA in 1974 where Bob was instrumental in developing dot matrix and later color LaserJet 
printing technologies. He also spent a year working at Stanford Research Institute.
Bob & Jacqueline loved to travel and were fortunate to visit many parts of this world. In recent years the spent a month every year on Kauai where they enjoyed just living with Aloha.
Bob was a wonderful father to Christopher Malone and Shannon Malone Nelson (Paul Nelson). He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, their children, and his granddaughters Catherine and Claire.
