Steven William Princic was born February 16, 1964 to Mary and the late Bob Princic. He was raised in Euclid, Ohio alongside his siblings Bob, Lynn, Jim, Rich and Kurt. Steve went to St. Joseph High School, the University of Dayton and later received his electrician’s license with the IBEW 46 electrician’s union in Seattle. A career that he shared with his father Bob (the Big Guy) Princic.
Steve moved from Ohio to San Diego where he met his future wife Laura Moon (Princic). They were together for 29 years and married for 21. During this time, they lived in Ballard, Washington; Dutch Harbor, Alaska and finally in Edmonds, Washington. Steve and Laura had two children Jeromy Princic (later Tristyn Moon) and Sean Princic. As a family they had many adventures together including Hawaii, Mexico, London, Paris, Scotland, Alaska, New Orleans, Virginia, Georgia and of course Disneyland and Disney World.
Steve is survived by his son Sean Princic. He was 59 and died in his home in Mukilteo on July 14, 2023. He was a fun-loving, gentle soul who loved sharing time with his family in the outdoors. With his Ohio family he loved fishing, hiking and camping and later hiking and camping with his family in the Pacific Northwest. At one point, Steve and Sean climbed Mount Saint Helens together. He was a relatively quiet man, but his one-liners were a riot (he had a great sense of humor). Steve loved his family deeply, along with his dog Remy. He also enjoyed Stevie Nicks, Apocalypse Now and a good cup of coffee.
Tristyn, the Big Guy and Remy have you now. This is their watch and I know that you are in good and loving hands.
Be at peace Steve…beloved father and former loving husband.
