Timothy Alan Lane

Timothy Alan Lane

June 16, 1948-October 11, 2013

Timothy Alan Lane was born June 16, 1948 in San Francisco, CA.  He was the youngest of 5 children, 3 sisters and 1 brother.  His family moved to the Skagit Valley area when he was a young boy, which is where he grew up.  In 1967 Tim joined the army and after his discharge, he settled in Seattle.

In 1971, he met his wife, Sandra Lane and they were married October 21, 1972.  Tim and Sandy moved to Mount Vernon, WA in 1977.  Their son Gerald Alan was born in 1979 and in 1980 they moved to Kirkland, where they have remained.

Tim had various jobs throughout his life time, but his favorite above all else was caring for his family.

Tim was the practical joker of the family.  One could always count on him to “pull something out of his TimothyLane1hat” to put a smile on your face or to liven up a situation.

Over his childhood years, Tim had a variety of animals. Among the many and varied ones, a ferret, alligator and several different reptiles.

Tim and Sandy both had an open heart for all.  Throughout the years, their home was a “Safe Haven” for many young people.  Their friendships were varied and encompassed many from all walks of life.  Their door was always open.

Timothy will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

TimothyLane2Tim is survived by his wife Sandra Lane, son Gerald, sisters: Sandy Revell, Pam Benoit, Tammy Holeman, brother, Steve Lane and several nieces and nephews.
