Troy Ryan
Troy Ryan, age 57, of Lynnwood, Washington, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. Troy was born on May 27, 1967, to Marsha Erickson and Dave Ryan. He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Ryan, and leaves behind his loving mother, Marsha Erickson; his devoted sisters, Michele Marsh and Jen Ryan; his cherished uncle, Rory Kunkel; his nephew, Brandon Somerville; and many extended family members and life long friends who will miss him deeply.
Troy was a man of many talents, known for his remarkable creativity and boundless passion. As an artist, he had an eye for detail and an innate ability to bring beauty to life, whether through his tattoo work, his craftsmanship, or his work as a skilled furniture maker. His love for music was equally profound, and his drumming was not just a hobby, but a rhythm that flowed through his soul, bringing joy to those around him.
For the past two decades, Troy worked as a foreman at his sister’s company, where his leadership, expertise, and warm personality left a lasting impact. Prior to that, he had worked alongside his father in the antique and restoration business. Troy was also a devoted pet owner, particularly to his beloved cat, Kola, a 21-pound ball of joy that brought him love and comfort and companionship that’s his boy.
Though Troy’s time with us was far too short, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the art he created, and the love he gave. He was a kind-hearted soul with a big spirit, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Troy. You will forever be in our hearts.
