Vernice Evelyn Fletcher, 96, died peacefully February 17, 2016, in Kirkland, Washington. Born in Bridesville, B.C. on December 6, 1919, she lived in Everett with her best dance partner and beloved husband of 63 years, Jack, until his death in 2004. Ever kind and loving, she cherished family above all else. Treasured by all who knew her, Vernice leaves: four daughters – Pam Shelfo (Jim); Patti Allanson, all of Everett; Margo Fletcher, Kirkland; Michelle Eklund (Roger), Tucson, Arizona; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many extended relatives. Per her request there will be no service.
